Third party reproduction is a commoditization of fertility. Currently there are no safeguards in place. EDSPA can provide safeguards through voluntary adoption of protocol and operational standards.

EDSPA can provide a measuring stick for persons who must rely upon third party reproduction service providers.  EDSPA can provide a system for infertile persons to seek a remedy when they are taken advantage of by service providers.   EDSPA can establish guidelines on a national basis outside of the politics inherent to state legislative bodies.
