EDSPA is a multidisciplined professional organization dedicated to provide a voluntary set of operational guidelines for professionals involved with third party reproduction.
Why do we need EDSPA ?
Third party reproduction is a commoditization of fertility. Currently there are no safeguards in place. EDSPA can provide safeguards through voluntary adoption of protocol and operational standards.
What is the purpose of EDSPA ?
EDSPA provides the infertile public a balance point to deter abuse by the service providers.

As a multidisiplined organization, EDSPA belongs to all professionals who provide services to the infertile public.
What are the benefits of belonging to EDSPA?
EDSPA can provide standardized safe practices guidelines. EDSPA can provide a measuring stick for persons who must rely upon third party reproduction service providers. EDSPA can provide a system for infertile persons to seek a remedy when they are taken advantage of by service providers. EDSPA can establish guidelines on a national basis outside of the politics inherent to state legislative bodies.
Why is EDSPA unique?
EDSPA is unique because it is the first organization to attempt to provide safe practices guidelines which address all ART providers regardless of their professional affiliations.
